The age restrictions for Hove Festival are as follows:

Festivalcamp is only open to people aged 16 and over.  We will be checking ID for people with campingpasses and if you have purchased a campingpass and you are under 16, you will not be allowed access to the campsite and you will not be able to claim a refund for your campingpass.

No unaccompanied 14s and under are allowed on site. Anyone aged 14 and under must be accompanied by over 18’s. An over 18 cannot be responsible for more than 4 people under the age of 15.

No under 16s are allowed to camp in the Festival Campsite. Anyone attending the festival who will be under the age of 16 should either book a day pass, or stay off site. Alternatively you can book into the Family and Quiet campsite – see the [camping] section for more information.

Children aged 12 and under are free and do not require a ticket or a wristband but must be accompanied by a paying adult over the age of 18.

You may be asked to show ID to prove your age at any time entering or during the festival. Accepted forms of ID for entrance to the festival & campsites include passport, photo driving licence, birth certificate, photo bank card or ISIC card.

If you are 12 or under, you do not need to buy a ticket to get into the festival arena but you will need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 18.  You must also have proof of age to qualify for free entry.  You are not allowed in the Festivalcamp even with people over the age of 18.  If you want to camp you can book into Hovecamping, the family campsite providing there is a person over 18 in your booking group.

If you are 13 or 14 you may buy a festival pass or a daypass but you must be accompanied by a ticket holding person over the age of 18 to enter the festival arena.  You are not allowed in the Festivalcamp even with people over the age of 18.  If you want to camp you can book into Hovecamping, the family campsite providing there is a person over 18 in your booking group.

If you are 15 you may buy a festivalpass or daypass and you don’t need to be accompanied to enter the festival arena.   You are not allowed in the Festivalcamp even with people over the age of 18.   If you want to camp you can book into Hovecamping, the family campsite providing there is a person over 18 in your booking group.

If you are 15 and your birthday falls during the festival, you may not enter the festivalcamp until your 16th birthday.  If you turn 16 on the last day of the festival, you will only be able to enter the festivalcamp on that day.  You cannot enter the festivalcamp before you turn 16, even if you are accompanied by people over the age of 18.

If you are 16 or over you can buy a festivalpass & a campingpass or a daypass & a campingpass for access to the festivalcamp.  You must bring ID to the festival to prove that you are over 16 if you have a camping pass.
